Overview

Honduras aircraft marking are the same at [cos98], [whe86] (which show image with 5 stars but the text reffer to one star) and Jane's 1945: blue-white-blue stripes with one blue 5 points star on the white, which carried on the wing-tips and rudder (horizontaly).
Fuerza Aérea Hondurena was formed in 1933 as Aviacion Militar Hondurena and use those marking since 1936. It got its current name in 1954?
From <www.scramble.nl> it seems that nowadays the wing-tips markings are gone and the rudder stripes were converted to Fin Flash. See also some images of the "rudder-stripes" era at <www.acig.org/fah_f-4u-5>, <www.acig.org/fas_corsair> , <www.acig.org/fah_t-28d>, <www.airliners.net/209867. The fin flash is made of three stripes without the star as seen at: <www.airliners.net/357010>.

Fin Flash

by Zeljko Heimer, 1 November 2001

According to Wheeler's book Fuerza Ae'rea Hondurena uses national flag (but in ~11:14) as fin flash and vertical square variant as its roundel

According to a photo of Jane's Weekly 07.01.98, confirming with Cochrane book, the only aircraft marking is a rectangular horizontal triband b-w-b , with only one star in the middle of the white, this marking being on the fin as specified.
Armand du Payrat, 11 October 1999

According to Album 2000 [pay00] - Aircraft Fin Marking (named Aircraft Fin Flash in [pay01], but the
French name for both is "Cocarde sur dérive) - Similar to the national flag, but with one large star instead of five stars, i.e. a horizontal triband of blue white blue with one blue five-pointed star in the middle.
Zeljko Heimer, 1 November 2001

According to a new book titled "Air markings of the world", published in Beijin China in Oct 2003 and supervised by Chinese Airforce political Committee, Honduras air marking is same as national flag but in square shape.
